The Bible Way to Heaven

Friend, have you ever wondered how to go to heaven the Bible way? If you will take a few moments to read this post, you will lean the Bible way to heaven. There are twelve questions presented here; questions you may have even asked yourself. Following each question is a Bible answer to the question. You will not read someone’s opinion or interpretation, just God’s Word answering the questions. If you want to have absolute assurance that you will go to heaven when you die, read these questions and the answers from God’s Word. I pray you will do so right now!

How many sinners are there in the world?

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:11-12 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

What happens to sinners when they die?

Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death;
Psalm 55:15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

If all are sinners and sinners go to hell, what hope is there?

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
1 Timothy 1:15a This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners

But what about good works? Can’t I just be a good person and get to heaven on my own?

Titus 3:5a Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us
Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

I admit that I would not be able to be good all the time. How then does Jesus Christ save sinners?

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Isaiah 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

What must I do to have Jesus take away my sins?

Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

I know I am a sinner and I am sorry for my sins against God. Is repenting the only thing I must do?

Romans 10:9-13 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I must pray to Jesus admitting to God that I am a sinner and believing that He died to pay for my sins. Is that all I must do to become a child of God?

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

So, I must also receive Him into my heart and life as my Lord and Saviour? Can I get saved anywhere and any time?

2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

But what will my friends and family think if I tell them I am a Christian?

Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.

I want to get saved, but I know I will probably sin again. What should I do when I sin?

1 John 1:7-9 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Can I lose my salvation after I get saved?

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Well friend, you have just read the Bible way to heaven. Everything you read was taken directly from the Bible. If you think it is easy to get saved, you are right. God is not willing that anyone should die and go to hell. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. But often, pride or lack of faith prevents some from admitting these facts. Salvation is a free gift. But a gift must be received. Jesus said:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The choice is yours. Nobody can make you get saved. Nobody can force you to admit to God what you already know in your heart. Please do not delay. Don’t put this off another day. If you believe what you have read, you know what you must do to be saved.
